European Influenced Dog Training in Northern Colorado

Helping Dogs & Humans Integrate Their Lives

My work is rooted in the European concept of Erziehung: guidance and education that balances creating safe, supportive environments for dogs, building strong relationships, and teaching practical, meaningful cues. I use science-based, humane training that prioritizes clarity, fairness, and thoughtful use of positive reinforcement.

Bringing a dog into your life can be joyful — but it can also be confusing and frustrating. I provide preventative, foundational skills, as well as behavioral solutions for dogs of all ages. Through education, clear structure, and meeting your dog’s needs, I can help you create balance on both ends — so your dog can thrive and you can enjoy a confident, connected life together.

Your Dog. Your Life. Together.

How Can I help?

Multi-Dog Homes & Introductions – helping dogs meet, coexist, and build positive relationships

The Process

Getting Started

We start with a 15-minute (free) introductory call to ensure we’re a good fit and outline the best path forward.

Evaluate & Plan

After getting to know you, your dog, and your goals, I create a clear, individualized plan to be implemented both during our sessions and at home.

Put in the Work

Progress takes time and consistency. You’ll receive ongoing guidance, notes, and check-ins throughout our work together to support accountability and follow-through.

Enjoy Your Dog

The result isn’t about changing your dog, but creating balance, clear communication, and healthy boundaries on both ends. By meeting your dog’s needs and adjusting routines and expectations together, the hard work turns into a relationship built on trust—and a true best friend you can enjoy living with.

  • "From our first 1‑on‑1 session with Justine, we saw a big shift — not only in our dog’s behaviour, but also in our relationship with him. Justine is patient, empathetic, and incredibly observant. She pays close attention to what works and what doesn’t, and she offers multiple alternatives until she finds the approach that fits both you and your dog. We went from being anxious and frustrated dog parents to feeling confident, calm, and connected. We now understand what motivates our dog, how to support him, and how to make walks enjoyable for everyone. We wholeheartedly recommend Justine to anyone looking for a thoughtful, skilled, and truly supportive dog trainer."

  • "When I brought Bailey home from the shelter, he struggled with resource guarding and confidence. Justine guided us in building his confidence and strengthening our communication, and with her help, Bailey has become a calm, happy, and well-adjusted companion. She has also cared for him during boarding visits, always ensuring he returns happy and balanced. Justine is a very compassionate, patient and competent trainer and we are lucky to have had the privilege of working with her."

  • "Simply amazing! I have no words to describe my gratitude to this lovely, kind, professional and super knowledgeable trainer we got. We brought our rescue, mix-breed hound puppy for lesson with Justine, and she went above and beyond to help us. We were amazed by her patience and kindness, and her impressive experience and ability to train rescue puppies. We learnt so much already and we are looking forward to the next sessions. Thank you!"
